When I was looking for inspirational stories online for a group of women coders, who wanted to see some role models and mentors, I spent some time searching for a site that provided this for New Zealand women. I could find rich and famous stories, people you could never aspire to be, but not much else. Where were the stories about women overcoming their statistics, being the first in their family to have a higher education, success with limited education, from very little, to a great NZ lifestyle? Where were the stories about women breaking through the glass ceiling? The mothers, the authors, the social good, the breakthroughs - big or small? There was nothing I could find. So I started it here. Be inspired by stories, inspire others with your own story.
